Within the company we have three divisions of operation. They are the Garden Center, Greenhouse and Nursery Production.
Individuals interested in working in any of these divisions need to have the skills or the willingness to learn the following:
Garden Center
• Good customer service
• Proper plant maintenance; watering, fertilizing, grooming, etc.
• Product knowledge; plant material, chemicals, fertilizers, etc.
• Displaying of merchandise
• General facilities maintenance
Greenhouse
• Propagation methods for annuals, perennials, vegetables, etc.
• Proper plant maintenance; watering, fertilizing, stocking, etc.
Nursery Production
• Propagation methods for trees, shrubs, perennials, etc.
• Balling and burlapping of trees
• Pruning and staking
• Weed and pest management
• General facilities maintenance
• Inventory management
